- Airline start-ups — Concept to AOC: business case development, fleet selection, regulatory approvals, organisational design, executive recruitment, enterprise agreements, and operational launch. I've done this more than once, including securing an Australian AOC in under six months and 30% under budget.
- Operational transformation — Identifying and delivering step-change improvements in operational efficiency, cost structure, and customer experience. I've guided operators to double-digit year-on-year efficiency improvements.
- Fleet strategy — Matching fleet capability to network ambition and unit cost targets. Not just which aircraft, but when, how many, owned or leased, and at what specification.
- M&A due diligence — Aviation-specific operational and technical due diligence for acquisitions, investments, and partnerships. I've led due diligence on airlines, airports, maintenance providers, aircraft manufacturers, and technology companies.
- Long-haul establishment — I led the operational programme that launched Cebu Pacific's international long-haul operation, including A330 introduction, regulatory approvals, and route certification.
- AOC and regulatory — Air Operator's Certificate applications, regulatory engagement, and compliance programme design. Experience across CASA (Australia), CAAP (Philippines), GCAA (UAE), and Transport Canada.
